This is the setup I’m using to listen to my “audiophile” CD player, the PS1. It consists of…

1. An Original PlayStation (Model SCPH-5501)

2. An S-Video Monster Cable (PLG200) that I managed to score on eBay for about 9 bucks

3. My JDS Labs CMoy BB v2.02

4. A Female RCA to 3.5mm Male adapter that I bought from RadioShack for a couple of bucks

5. My Beloved HiFiMan RE0 IEMs

Altogether, it’s a very awesome sounding setup to listen to, albeit a tad crude, aesthetically speaking. Whatever the case may be, I’m greatly enjoying it. The cable upgrade really makes a noticeable difference in sound quality. I’ll be posting impressions of it on Musical Musings later this week so stay tuned!
