When the mail came today, I found a couple of interesting things waiting for me on my doorstep.

HiFiMan RE-ZERO

The HiFiMan RE-ZERO limited edition IEMs. I was sent a pair of these for the purposes of review (thanks to Fang at Head-Direct!) and I’ve been eagerly anticipating their arrival.

I’ve given them an initial listen and I have to say that I’m quite pleased with what I’m hearing so far, much like I was when I received my RE0s in January. I’ll have more impressions of them posted soonish. 

Sennheiser MX400

I found these for sale online at Woot! at $6.99 plus shipping for two pairs and since I wanted a decent pair of knock-around earbuds (not IEMs), I decided to jump on them. Turns out, after a few minutes of listening, that they’re not bad at all, especially considering the price. I’m still burning them in at the moment but they sound good so far and I only expect things to improve from here.
